FINISH IT—
Every man’s life is a journey. Some easier than others but nonetheless rest assured there will be adversity at some point.
Addiction is ugly. Addiction cripples a man’s belief in himself and sense of self worth.
Watching 8 men today from @nolongerbound1 in Atlanta complete a 5K/10K that they have trained for was powerful to witness.
These men are fighting and we believe that an amazing future is ahead of them. One that is hard to see and believe in when you are deep into addiction.
Thank you to all of the volunteers that have shown up to train and encourage these guys for something more. The work that @nolongerbound1 does to rescue, regenerate, and reconcile these men is absolutely a blessing.
Finish Strong.

9 Men from No Longer Bound took on a challenging half marathon trail race called Helenback. Starting in Helen, GA, the course immediately climbs out of the valley into an amazing trail system that is at all times going up or down covering 2300 feet of elevation. This crew has been training hard and was motivated to accomplish something hard at a distance they had never gone. All 9 had a great adventure and crossed the finish line with a great sense of pride and confidence. This new understanding of what is possible in their lives is exactly the purpose of What Limits Project. None of this is possible without our partners and volunteer support. Thank you @thepmanfoundation @bigpeachrunningco @f3alpha
Great opportunity yesterday for our men in training @teenchallengeusa in the @werunwild1 @runpensacola Half Marathon and 5K.
We had 4 men in our training complete the half marathon and 2 set new PR’s in the 5K.
Watching these guys push themselves to accomplish a goal they set out to do was a special moment for us.
New beliefs about what’s possible in your life and the confidence earned to know you can endure through discomfort is what our program is all about.
Thank you to @werunwild1 who graciously continue to support and sponsor our runners. Providing our guys with an opportunity to reinforce their training with an event is an awesome reward and very much appreciated.

So proud of these 11 men from the @waterfrontmission LifeBuilder program. The commitment was there and we had perfect attendance from this group for our weekly early morning training sessions.
Yesterday, we got the opportunity to celebrate their dedication to addiction recovery with a run on the UWF trails.
With each event we do we gain a better understanding that What Limits is not about the miles…it’s an opportunity to see these men smile again and be proud of who they are believe that recovery is possible.

These men have been accountable and consistent leaders and showing up 2-3x per week for running and high intensity workouts.
We can’t thank our partners enough @thepmanfoundation and @bigpeachrunningco for providing the @hoka running shoes and workout apparel.

Gracious shoe donation from our friends @bigpeachrunningco. Grateful for the continued support from all sponsors as we strive to remove all barriers from a man in recovery saying “Yes” to training with us.

Gulf Coast Half Marathon—
This past Sunday 6 men from @teenchallengeusa hammered out a 5K along with another 3 that completed the Half Marathon distance.
So proud and excited for these guys as they put the work into training and are now hungry for more miles.
Grateful for our friends @werunwild1 and @thepmanfoundation for sponsoring the guys to compete in this event and equipping them with shoes and apparel that provided an opportunity for the men to get a Win.

On Saturday, 11 Men from @nolongerbound1 took on the challenge of an @dirtyspokes11 7.5 & 3.8 mile Trail Race at Red Top Mountain.
They have practiced accountability and trained every week for months regardless of the weather. It`s fun to see their confidence grow as they become healthy with clear minds and focus.
Although it was mostly about finishing the drill, several men even made the podium! Special thanks to @thepmanfoundation thru their generous grant program, allowing us cover registration for any man in addiction recovery who wants to tow the line. Check them out at www.pmanfoundation.org and join one of their events! Also thanks to @bigpeachrunningco for being a partner in providing running shoes.
Awesome moment from yesterday’s training run @waterfrontmission.
At the end of the run I told one of the guys “you’re doing great for 4 weeks in”…he stopped me and said “no sir, I’m 5 weeks in don’t sell me short.”
Watching this man take pride in himself and excited about training for something more was a great moment.
Easy for me to take something simple like this for granted but for a man working hard to put his life back together it’s a BIG step.

Gratitude—
Overwhelmed with gratitude for the people around me that I get to share life with. People that push and challenge to be a little better today than yesterday.
Friends that show up and support your interest because they know what it means to you.
Easy to get wrapped up in the speed of life and not take inventory of who and what’s around you.
Support and Serve as many reps as possible.

Jeremiah 29:11 in action.
@clemsonvoorheis78 completing his first half marathon less than 6 months removed from wanting to take his own life.
Look forward to seeing the impact this man will make in the lives of others.

Race Week—
The stage is set for the 5K this weekend and the men @nolongerbound1 are ready to show up and get after it. Thank you to all of the volunteers for the support throughout training.
Last training run of the session today and then Showtime!

Thankful—
Beautiful start to Thanksgiving getting out with 7 of the men from @waterfrontmission that have been training to run a 5K with us over the past few months.
Training runs starting at 5:23 am on the dot. The first weeks were slow as we built up to 1..2..and then 3 miles. The importance of showing up is a concept we focus on. Daily forward momentum is what we are seeking.
Blessed to have the opportunity to call these men friends and the courage they show to stand up and work towards recovery and moving towards positive growth in their lives.
Special thank you to our friends @werunwild1 and @runpensacola for helping out by providing running shoes for our guys in training and inviting us to participate in the Turkey Trot.

What Limits—
Race day smiles from recent men in training. My buddy Craig came in with a goal of completing his first 5K in under 35 minutes and with the help of @razorblaydesjr encouraging him to finish strong he crushed his goal in just under 30 minutes.
Right at the finish we caught up with Chris who may have set a Guinness World Record for knocking out a sub 30 in skinny jeans and skate shoes.
Building belief one day at a time.
